Lately, I have been feeling physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally under attack. As though I am being physically blocked and knocked out in a boxing game. Unintentionally or through someone’s carelessness, I have felt deep heartache from simple words, phrases, images and stories. The more I am in tune with my heart and try to take care of it, the deeper I feel people’s hurt, the world’s suffering, and my limited power.
In those moments, I begin to question my worth and abilities. I start to forget who I am. The more I push through and fight, the heavier the blockage. Then I reminded that:
I am loved more than I can imagine or comprehend.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3 v16
I am smart. Smarter than I can understand.
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and hypocrisy.” James 3 v 17
I am royalty, an heiress to the kingdom of God.
“And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ, we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.” Roman 8 v 17
I am a conquer, victorious!
“For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.” Deuteronomy 20 v 4
I have a purpose.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11
I have a championed.
“The Lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your piece.” Exodus 14 v 14
I require nothing.
“… my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4 v 19
I am beautiful, for I am a reflection of God.
“God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Genesis 1 v 27
Therefore, I will continue to fight, and even when I fall, I will continue to rise for the grace and the shield of God covers me, and He will not let me fall in the presence of my enemies.
