Using Nutrisystem as a Tool for My Weight Loss Journey

&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Over the past two months&comma; I have been using Nutrisystem to help me achieve my weight loss goal&period; So&comma; I decided to sign-up for the <em>Uniquely Yours Max 7 Day Plan&colon; Women&comma; I’ll Pick Meals&comma; Metabolism<&sol;em> and officially started the program on May 12&comma; 2021&period; By July 17&comma; I had lost about 8 Lbs&period;&comma; which for perfect for me&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph"><strong><u>Here’s what I have learned so far&colon;<&sol;u><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph"><strong>The first week is the hardest-<&sol;strong> I honestly felt like I would die the first week&period; I had a headache almost every day&comma; especially as I got closer to dinner time&period; The snacks in between meals were super helpful&comma; and adding more vegetables to meals helped me feel like I was eating more&comma; but my body was craving carbs and sweets&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Portion size matters-<&sol;strong> In any diet regime&comma; you must control your food intake&period; Through this program&comma; I have eaten smaller portions throughout the day while still feeling full&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Veggies&comma; Veggies&comma; Veggies<&sol;strong>&&num;8211&semi; Vegetables have become my best friend&period; I have always loved eating vegetables&comma; but I have incorporated a lot more into my diet through this program&comma; and my body is loving it&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Water<&sol;strong>&&num;8211&semi; I have tried to drink as much water as I can throughout the day&period; This program asks for a minimum of 64oz of water&sol;fluid&period; Each morning&comma; I fill up a gallon of water ¾ and drink it throughout the day&period; Most days&comma; I can get through all of it&period; However&comma; some days&comma; I am only able to do the 64oz of fluid&period; The more water I drink&comma; the more I can recognize when my body is dehydrated&comma; especially during the summer months&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Eating pattern&sol;frequency is essential<&sol;strong>&&num;8211&semi; I live a busy lifestyle&comma; and meal prep has always taken the backseat&period; However&comma; having the meals handy have been helpful to ensure that I eat regularly&period; My family members have noticed and commented that I have been eating more through this program&period; Also&comma; before&comma; I did not have a set timeframe for eating breakfast&comma; lunch&comma; and dinner&period; Some days I would skip breakfast&period; Other days&comma; I would work through lunch and eat a large dinner which was not helpful for me&period; I did not realize the message of starvation and the need to preserve fats that I was sending my body&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">I still have a long way to go to achieve my weight loss goal&comma; but I am thankful I decided to start this program&period; I have some concerns about the amount of processed food I am eating&comma; but according to Nutrisystem&comma; most of the food does not require artificial preservatives and flavors&period; The additives they use are deemed safe by the Food and Drug Administrations&period; &nbsp&semi;I am not sure how long I will continue to follow through&comma; but for now&comma; I am all in&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">For those of you who may be interested in trying it out for a week or two without the added commitment&comma;
